Wails of Dying is a sound installation and listening space, staged in the living space of Hof Narr's pigs. It draws on the book Undrowned by Alexis Pauline Gumbs, in which whales have learned to survive, breathe, and stay in relation under pressure. The farm and its sounds become part of the ecology we listen to. Whose deaths are heard? Whose are ignored? What does it take to stay present without turning away? An invitation to listen, not for answers, but for the uncomfortable, necessary act of staying present.
