Fear is not an ending, it is the beginning of movement. The body does not escape, but moves toward something deeper than itself. Something unseen. We do not run alone. In this improvised dance performance, the human dancers are joined by horses. Together they move, they run, they dance, breath by breath, until we no longer know: are we the ones moving, or merely an echo of something larger than us?

Aly Khamees is a Zurich-based Egyptian choreographer and dancer whose practice blends contemporary dance, power movement, and traditional Egyptian street dance. Together with musician Dino Brandão, dancer Nadika Mohn, and the horses of Hof Narr, he steps into the unknown — improvising, listening, moving as one.
