Before It Arrives is an interactive installation centred around a large inflatable bacon sculpture. Visitors are invited to draw, paint, and write on it throughout the festival — transforming a symbol of consumption into a participatory space for reflection and reimagining. Through finger painting, bright colours, soft materials, and text, the work invites audiences to imagine futures shaped by care, coexistence, and interspecies belonging. An evolving artwork shaped by the hands and imaginations of the public.
